Chicago Area Executives Await Fates

According to this CBS Chicago July report, A total of seven Illinois companies have filed reports with the state that it plans to lay off a total of more than 600 workers, starting next month. Those sited include Morgan Stanley, Jewel-Osco, Bistro 110, Emmis Communications and Ryerson.

And since that report, Google’s Motorola Mobility has announced Sweeping Changes that will Ax 4,000 Jobs.

For the displaced executives from these organizations, I recommend considering a collaborative approach to seeking your next position as opposed to going it alone.  And at the very least, I hope our resources page will provide some guidance.
